The Sungiven Foods store, renovated and relaunched in August 2023, is a dynamic project that I had the pleasure of overseeing from the earliest design stages to the final touches of construction. Collaborating with a talented team of architects, engineers, store operators, equipment suppliers, and contractors, we tackled each challenge with innovative solutions, creating a space that balances functionality with a fresh, inviting atmosphere.

Designed to elevate the shopping experience, this mid-sized store features 32 refrigerator bays, 32 freezer bays, and 60 grocery racks, plus four walk-in coolers and two walk-in freezers to ensure an extensive variety of fresh and frozen selections. A standout feature is the in-store kitchen, which serves freshly prepared meals and baked goods, along with a cozy dining area where customers can relax and enjoy their selections. The layout thoughtfully considers customer flow, staff efficiency, and the store's promotional goals, creating an engaging space that enhances both the operational ease and the customer experience. This project highlights the power of collaborative design to create a store that’s as functional as it is welcoming.
